ARCTIC GRAYLING (THYMALLUS ARCTICUS)

The Arctic grayling (Thymallus arcticus) are distinct freshwater fish characterized by their slender bodies and remarkable dorsal fins. These fins showcase vibrant colors, ranging from hues of blue and red to orange. Typically of moderate size, their habitats include cold and clear rivers and lakes in Arctic and subarctic regions. 


Known for their surface-feeding behavior, Arctic grayling often rise to consume insects, making them  super fun on dries. They also will eat streamers and mice of the top in the right conditions.
