Our Services

Our skilled guides will lead you on a trip you will never forget

  • We all come from various guiding backgrounds and are obsessed fisherman. We are young and hungry to explore and build relationships that last longer than the guided trip. All our guides are extremely well equipped to keep guests safe and provide a unique Alaskan experience. Hundreds of hours on the oars rowing fisherman into fish. All guides are CPR and first aid certified.

  • We believe in keeping things simple, smart, and human. Every trip is a chance to unplug from the busy everyday and find the speed of the river. We dwell on safety, experience, and technique. We like using the right tool for the job.

  • We have limited spots available for our multi-day fly out fly fishing trips. There are only so many days in an Alaskan summer. We operate July-Mid Sept. Contact us to secure your week

MULTI-Day Float Trips

9 Days 8 Nights
from $7,000.00

9 Day 8 Night Fly Out Float Trip

Some trips end just when you're hitting your stride. This one doesn't.

We fly you in by float plane and put you on water that most people will never see. By the time you've found your footing on the river and figured out the fish, you've still got days ahead of you. No scrambling to fit it all in before the plane comes. You're just fishing.

We handle the oars, the camps, and the meals. Eight nights on the gravel bar, waking up to the same river with fresh eyes every morning. When the fishing gets good, and it will get good, you have the time to be there for all of it.

What you're targeting depends on the time of year and the water we're on. Rainbows, salmon, grayling, dollies. We'll put you on what's eating and give you the time to figure it out properly.

These trips run during the best of trout season, and we only have so many dates. The anglers who've been here before know to book ahead.

7 Day 6 Night Fly Out Float Trip

Seven days in the Alaskan backcountry has a way of resetting something in you. This is a serious float trip — enough time to settle into the rhythm of the river, learn its moods, and fish it the way it deserves to be fished.

From the moment we touch down to the moment we pull out, the wilderness is your backyard. We handle the oars, the camps, and the meals. Every night is a new gravel bar, every morning starts with coffee and a plan. Six nights out here goes fast.

What you're fishing for depends on the time of year and the river we're on — Alaska has no shortage of either. Rainbows, salmon, grayling, dollies — we'll put you on what's eating.

This trip runs best with 6 anglers, though we'll fish it with as few as 4. All gear can be provided. The one thing you need to bring is a valid Alaska fishing license — sort that before you show up.

If you've been looking for a week that's actually worth taking off work, this is it.

4 Days 3 Nights
$4,000.00

4 Day 3 Night Fly Out Float Trip

Not everyone can carve out a week and a half in the Alaskan backcountry — but that doesn't mean you have to settle for a day trip. The 4 Day 3 Night Fly Out Float Trip is the full Fly Out Trout experience, condensed into four days you won't forget.

We drop in from the air and from there it's just river, fish, and wilderness. We handle the oars. You fish.

Nights are spent on the gravel bar under an open Alaskan sky. We set up camp, cook the meals, and take care of everything that isn't fishing. Your job is to be present and ready when the fish are.

What you're chasing depends on when you come and what river we're on. Alaska has a way of putting the right fish in front of you at the right time — rainbows, salmon, grayling, dollies — we'll put you on whatever is eating.

This trip runs best with 4 to 6 anglers, though we'll take a minimum of 2. All camping gear can be provided.

If you've been looking for a way into the backcountry without committing to a full week, this is it.

WEEK LONG TRIP ITINERARY

  • Fly in day, settle into boats, safety speech, heavy instruction and light fishing.

Float and make camp for night one. We typically do not camp at the drop in location.

  • Fish hard, learn the nuances of the river and understand where we are at with seasonality and conditions.

  • We have made some downstream progress and the river has changed. The topography and habitat changes with the day. More salmon are present. The camp dynamic’s are flowing.

  • Everyone is settled in and typically the fishing can be at its best. We have reached the peak and camp games are getting heated! You are happy you still have a couple days left but are already sad it’s nearing its almost over. (This is why we like the 9 day 8 night the most)

  • The group is in total unison and we are a team now. Everyone is working together while fishing, at camp, and the campfire stories are epic.

  • Last full day.. if you haven’t taken a river bath by now you are feeling it but chances are you already did. Fish are everywhere and life is abundant. We gorge on extra rations and swap stories from the trip.

  • Travel day. Break down gear. Beaver loaded up. You are ready to get back to civilization knowing that places like this still exist in the world. Pristine wilderness worth protecting. You leave with friends, memories and experiences you never thought possible. Now you know what the call of Alaska feels like.
